Skein Quilt
Geese flying in formation are called a ‘skein’, as though a thread was pulling through the sky.
This is a large cotton and linen pieced outer, wool core. Improvised piecing based on ‘flying geese’ blocks in rust, ochre, tan and yellow. Cotton dyed by Sew & Grow CIC. Linen offcuts from Kaely Russel clothing.
Machine quilted. Hand-finished binding.
