Pontoon Quilt
Pontoon is a unique ‘ready made’ quilt, part of the A/W 2023 collection.
Cotton and remnant linen outer, cotton binding, wool core. Machine quilted. Hand-finished binding.
The fabric was dyed at Wildwood Studio with responsibly sourced Indigo, red onion skins and iron. Improvised piecing based on a ‘housetop’ design. This quilt reminds me of the way I get into open water in the winter at the jetty, taking it one step at a time.
