My art practice is grounded in walking, and embraces photography, print and hand-stitch. I walk with an eye out for beauty - and in my work I hope to hold and share some of the joy, some of the still calm, some of the deep care that my walks in nature give to me.
A New Zealander, now based in Oxford (England), I worked for many decades, and around the world, as a public policy economist. As an artist, I found my feet in the MA (Textiles) programme at the Royal College of Art (class of 2021).
