Archaeologies Installation: 6 textile sculptures Sumi, Nabrosok, Terra, Aurum, Inle, Voices (2021)
Culminating 6 months of impassioned work this is a tactile exploration of identity choreographed into a notional path of hope, continuity. Juxtaposing finesse and complexity with raw nature creates ancient tension, both new and evocative. Asemic quality invites the viewer to reflect, thus completing my work. Timeless beauty of cloth, book’s symbolism as vessel of knowledge at once reveal and conceal. Resulting momentum poetically alludes to life's journey, constructing whole from fragmentation.
