The Vinea series of artworks are a continuation and evolution of a theme I had explored during the Bloom series. I wanted to explore the theme of nature further as I want to show the beauty of the environment I am trying to protect by using natural dyes. In the Vinea series, I use an 8 shaft ARM loom, hand-paint the vine/leaf element to the warp and finish with hand embroidered details to add shading to the artwork.
