The Chawton House Project
The Chawton House Project is a collection of three bespoke Hand Embroidered Wall Panels that take inspiration from the rich history and grounds of Chawton house, an Elizabethan Manor House located in Chawton, Hampshire. Many traditional embroidery techniques have been carefully selected in each composition, including Goldwork, Raised work, Silk shading and tonal Canvas work. Natural materials such as Linen, Raffia and parchment paper features heavily throughout the collection.
