Tasseography Textiles
Like my British great grandmother I use tea leaf readings to subvert the act of tea drinking. I help people explore spirit, shape and colour to create design plans for textile interior art works. I have created, a generative participatory design approach that works with people (designers and non-designers alike) to explore individual and collective internal landscapes. Drawing on my Chinese and Columbia heritage, I explore ‘otherness’ as amorphic future Us.
