Ring box display - A special and sentimental Keepsake
I hand crafted this beautiful and unusual keepsake, a ring box display piece out a of real goose eggshell.
I cut the egg in half, horizontally, and carefully carved the top half in a floral pattern, making holes in the shell big and small enough for the needle to pass through for the embroidery stage after. A bespoke commission, I embellished the piece with a beautiful satin fabric and embroidered the lid with pastel threads that work beautifully with the sky blue colour of this piece.
