Pathless Forest
“One who wanders through the pathless silva (forest) is one who has either lost their footprints that should lead him through, or never laid them down in the first place” Carruthers, M.
This poetic metaphor for memory illustrates the confusion felt when trying to search for memories. This imagery of trying to grasp onto memories, before they drift away, encapsulated the ideas surrounding this collection of pieces, resulting in the title ‘Pathless Forest’.
