Ozymandias for the 21st century - A mosaic sculpture inspired by P B Shelley
This work is Gary's re-imagining of the famous Shelley poem. The work is in two sections the front depicting the face is made from marble, the shattered visage here representing mankind. The reverse of the sculpture reveals the phrase "look upon my works ye Mighty, and despair' a scene of the destruction of mankind through pollution and war created in Venetian Glass, Porcelain and using toy cars and soldiers
