'Murmuration'
Watching murmurations of starlings at the bottom of my garden I became mesmerised by the grace and beauty of their collective movement, their ‘dance’ instilling an awareness of the ephemerality and impermanence of the encounter. In Murmuration' I aim to capture the essence of this rich, yet fleeting experience, pushing the boundaries of my practise technically, materially and structurally. Shadows created gently extend the boundaries, further mimicking the swooning orchestration of the birds.
