Jo Cope's conceptual practice pushes the formal boundaries of fashion.
Cope uses shoes as an extention of the self and a vessels to communicate human based subjects and ideas. Her work draws upon areas of psychology and philosophy and socially facing subject matters.
Copes conceptual shoes are created using extreme adaptions of traditional cordwaining skills. Her seamless handcrafted sculptural forms have been exhibited worldwide at pretigious galleries, museums and events including MAD Paris.
