Ecclesiastical Pieces

Over the last twenty five years - I have been asked by various Churches & Cathedrals to make some special commissions for their places of worship. This could be some Offertory Bowls (retired in 2008.......) for the collection, commissioned by the Friends of Portsmouth Cathedral. At the other end of the scale a whole set of Choir Stalls for 20 Choristers at St Nicholas Church, Wickham (Hampshire) commissioned partly with the bequest from a long term chorister.

Bishop of Stepney Crosier - with its case, Kate Lloyd

Crosier partly fitted in its carrying case (Laburnum shaft - Colin Norgate - Lead Collaborator of the project) & fellow directory members (Fleur Grenier - Pewter Hook and Anodised Aluminum Kingfisher) (Sue Lowday - Leather carrying case). Each part of their project was designed by the individual crafts-person.

The Bishop of Stepney using the Crosier for the first time - made in collaboration with two other Crafts Council Directory members.
