Dalia James is a woven textile designer-maker with a studio practice in east London. Central to her ethos is the use of strong colours and rectilinear forms and patterns derived from a profound affinity to the teachings of the Bauhaus as well as other early 20th Century design and artistic movements. Fascinated by process and experimentation, Dalia often incorporates other disciplines into her design process, using printmaking, drawing and collage as a starting point when creating designs.

Hothouse is a six month programme designed to help makers cultivate their creativity and develop their business know-how with equal measure. In 2019, Dalia James was announced as one of the 26 creative businesses taking part this year.

Dalia James is a woven textile designer-maker with a studio practice in east London.
