Join the Crafts Council and partners as we discuss and make plans for decolonising the craft, art and design curriculum.
This session will follow on from our October CPD, which focused on planning an anti-racist curriculum. We will be joined by expert speakers who will discuss how to develop anti-racist resources to be used in the classroom for craft, art and design curriculums.
You will leave this session with a starting place and tools for making your craft, art and design curriculums anti-racist. We are offering this event as part of our specialist CPD program for Craft School: Yinka’s Challenge, however this is an open event that is suitable for craft teachers and maker educators from KS1 - KS4.
This session will be also supported by a specialist make along session from an expert craft maker, providing ideas and skills for you to bring into your classrooms and practice.
