The National Saturday Club gives 13 to 16-year-olds the opportunity to study subjects they love at their local university, college or cultural institution, for free.
The Art School’s Club is part of the National Saturday Club’s Craft&Making programme.
At our National Saturday Club, you will have the rare opportunity to use traditional skills to make a series of hand-crafted artworks with a contemporary twist.
This year there will be two Clubs at City & Guilds of London Art School:
- 2D Heritage Craft (12 places)
- 3D Heritage Craft (8 places)
Find out more on our website here.
Once you have made your application, you will be contacted by City & Guilds of London Art School to enquire which stream is your preference.
Both streams of the course will be taught by expert tutors who deliver BA and MA programmes at the Art School with a range of trips and guest tutors throughout the year. You’ll also be supported by a team of current Art School students who you’ll be able to chat to about what it takes to become an artist today.
We have family and friends parties throughout the academic year so your work and progress can be shared and celebrated.
We hope to hear from you and look forward to your application! Club members will also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
