Focusing on individuality and conceptual design Antonello Figlia combines both traditional goldsmithing techniques with modern ones such as photo etching, to achieve contemporary jewellery. Antonello’s ‘Optic Collection’ is inspired by the optical illusions of OpArt. The ‘Panorama Collection’ is a body of work shown in several exhibitions across Europe. Antonello uses his own snapshots taken from his mobile phone aiming to convert photos into a three-dimensional piece of jewellery.

Transformations @ Bankside Gallery

Exhibition of unique contemporary craft from the Society of Designer Craftsmen Masters in the magic of transforming simple materials into superb contemporary craft works, the Society of Designer Craftsmen will be revealing their collective skill at the Bankside Gallery in London this summer. Combining innovative approach with supreme craftsmanship, over 100 of the Society’s members will be showcasing original work in textiles, ceramics, glass, wood, paper, stone, base and precious metals.

Madrid 4th Exhibition of Modern Silversmithing & Jewellery

Held in the Museum of Decorative Arts of Madrid the exhibition promote contemporary goldsmithing & jewellery design in order to match the fine arts. Run along Madrid Design Festival Antonello Figlia work will exhibit amongst 30 artists till 29 March
